About el Sol de Mexico and two generations of fangirls c:

I'm very lucky to say that I have been in a good number of concerts: Coldplay, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson (twice!), 31 Minutos, Soda Stereo... Even Violetta when I was like 13 years old (my first convert ever). All of them with good and bad experiences but I wanna write about my most recent show.

One of my mom's bigger dreams was go to a Luis Miguel concert. She's a really big fan of this 54-years-old Mexican singer since she was 8 years old, my Nena (grandma) says that when he was on TV no one could make her move. Naturally, this develop into her raising me to be a fangirl and an incondicional just like her. Life goes on and she never could accomplish that dream... Until now.

After days of fight on Puntoticket, we finally get tickets and, after 37 years, my mom saw the love of her life for the first time on september 4th, 2023 in the Movistar Arena.

The concert was amazing, I truly believe he's one of the best performens I have seen live. His vocal range and stage presence is incomparable, even being sick. He sang his most popular songs, some old stuff for the OG fans and two of my favorite songs: Te necesito and Isabel.

My mom was the happiest person in Earth that night and I'm very happy to share that memory with her.

Ugh, I'm a very cheesy person so, in apology for that and as a reward for read everything, I have four Luis Miguel's songs as a recommendartion cause you can never get enough of el Sol de Mexico:

1. Isabel (Palabra de honor, 1984)

2. Oro de ley (20 años, 1990)

3. Qué nivel de mujer (Aries, 1993)

4. Te necesito (33, 2003)

... Enjoy.
