About frustrated high school dreams and being a LOTR fan c:

If you ask me what country I would like to visit I have so many answers: Singapore, England, Netherlands... But I want to talk (write) about one of my golden dreams that could not be, New Zealand.

When I was in high school I had the chance to participate in a program called Pingüinos sin fronteras that gave me the posibility to study in another country for a semester, That year was New Zealand. Sadly I wasn't selected, but I fell in love with the country anyways.

New Zealand it's a beautiful country full of nature, gorgeous beaches, glaciers and volcans all divide in two islands:  Te Ika a Maui (in the north) and Te Wai Pounamu (in the south). Although I'm not an outside person I'd love to do a roadtrip around the islands and see everything.

I'm a really big fan of The Lord Of The Rings movies and a big part of them

was filmed here. In Matamata (a city in Waikato, in the north) is the set of The Shire and you can take a tour for all Hobbiton. Another amazing LOTR spot is The Pillars Of The Kings ubicated in the Kawaru river (near Queenstown, in the south), the pillars are not there obviously but it's a beautiful place anyway.

I would like to stay there for a while, like a month or something, to practice my English and visit everything calmly.

There are more reasons why I would like to go to New Zealand (like learn about the maori culture), but I think this is enough.
